In less than two weeks Toshiba will officially make its entrance in the US digital camcorder market through the release of the CAMILEO series S20, H30 and X100 models. Pictured below, Toshiba's camcorders can record 1080p Full HD video, and have 3-inch LCD screen, an SD/SDHC memory card for storage, a YouTube hotkey for quick and easy uploads on the popular sharing site, and also USB 2.0 and HDMI connectivity.

"The CAMILEO line is a very natural extension of our consumer electronics offerings in the U.S. and provides the quality consumers expect from the Toshiba brand," said Ron Smith, vice president of marketing, Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., Digital Products Division. "The line is meeting a growing consumer demand for affordable HD camcorders that make sharing memories with friends and family easy and fun."

The thin and light S20 camcorder features 4x digital zoom, the ability to take 5MP stills and costs $180, while the H30, with its 5x optical zoom and 10MP still shooting goes for $250. Last but not least, the X100 is priced at $400 and has 10x optical zoom.
