There was a time in history when these rings were appropriately called "finger armour." But set them in gold, encrust them with diamonds, and photograph them on Hollywood's most wanted (e.g. Heidi Klum, The Olson Twins, Rhianna, Kate Moss) and you've got sweet trend on your hands -- um, er...knuckle.
