The new Sony W Series Netbook is equipped with 1.66 GHz Intel ATOM N280 processor with 512-KB L2 Cache, features Intel Mobile US15W chipset mainboard, 1-GB DDR2 SDRAM (upto 2-GB max in 2 SO-DIMM slots), and a 160-GB SATA 5400 rpm hard drive.

The Sony W series ultra-portable netbook sports a lightweight design with small foot print making it ideal for use at places like in home, shopping mall, airports, gym, local trains, bus, planes and such where a larger size laptop might feel inconvenient.
